Prof. Haitao Li

Doctor of Engineering, Distinguished Professor of Jiangsu Province. He received his Doctor of Engineering degree from the Institute of Functional Nano & Soft Materials, Soochow University in July 2013. From 2013 to 2018, he conducted postdoctoral research and independent research at Monash University and The University of Sydney in Australia, respectively.   In recent years, he has mainly engaged in the design of novel carbon-based functional materials and their research applications in catalysis, sensing, and clean energy. He has led 10 research projects (6 in China, 4 in Australia) and participated in many others. His research findings have been published in over 90 SCI-indexed papers in prestigious academic journals, such as *Angew. Chem. Int. Ed.*, *Advanced Energy Materials*, and *ACS Catalysis*. These works have been cited over 12,000 times (per Google Scholar) with an h-index of 37. Among them, 4 papers were selected as cover articles and 9 as ESI highly cited papers. Several of his studies have been highlighted in platforms like *NPG Asia Materials* and the Australian Chemistry Society. He also holds 10 authorized Chinese invention patents.

Prof. Xinyong Li

Professor at the School of Chemical Engineering, Environment and Life Sciences, Dalian University of Technology, Prof. Li research focuses on green catalysis, nano-catalysis, energy catalysis, and chemical & biological sensing. He has undertaken or participated in multiple national-level projects, including the National Key R&D Program, National High-Tech R&D Program (863 Program), National Key Basic Research Program (973 Program), and National Natural Science Foundation of China (major, general, and international cooperation projects). His honors include the Second Prize of National Natural Science Award (2011), First Prize of Natural Science Award for Institutions of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education (2010), Supervisor of the Nomination Award for National Hundred Excellent Doctoral Dissertations (2013), and Supervisor of the Nomination Award for Liaoning Provincial Hundred Excellent Doctoral Dissertations (2012). He has been listed in Elsevier's China Highly Cited Researchers in Environmental Science for 10 consecutive years (2014-2023). He has published over 290 SCI-indexed papers, with more than 16,800 Google Scholar citations and a Google Scholar H-index of 74. He has filed over 55 patents, 22 of which have been authorized, and delivered over 40 reports at international academic conferences in the fields of energy, environment and catalysis.

Prof. Omar Chaalal

Omar Chaalal, Ph.D., is a Distinguished Professor of Chemical Engineering at Abu Dhabi.  Chaalal is an internationally renowned expert in the separation technologies. He is the inventor of the EnPro Process that deals with the sequestration of carbon dioxide and global warming reduction. Chaalal has pioneered among others the use of seawater and ammonia to reduce the effect of carbon dioxide on the environment.  Chaalal was an Associate Professor of Chemical Engineering at Ibn Khaldun University Algeria, and the United Arab Emirates University. He was the Chief Scientist of Enpro As. Norway. Actually he special advisor of Triton Hydrogen Norraw AS,   a member of Al Mobdioon Center of Excellence and innovation of King Abdul Aziz University (Saudi Arabia), an Advisory Board   of IIB environmental Company in Japan and   a member of the board of several Journals. He has authored 100 refereed publications, 2 European patents, 1 US patent related to smart material in Enhance Oil Recovery and more than 200 presentations.  Chaalal was awarded by the International Association of Advanced Materials (IAAM) a Medal for notable and outstanding research in Materials Science and Technology,  Dr. Chaalal was invited as a plenary speaker in the many international congresses and conferences.

Prof. Boon Tong Goh

Professor Boon Tong Goh is a professor in the Department of Physics, Universiti Malaya, where he currently serves as Deputy Dean of the Institute for Advanced Studies and Deputy Head of the Low Dimensional Materials Research Center. He obtained his PhD in 2012, with his thesis titled "Layer-by-Layer Plasma-Enhanced Chemical Vapour Deposition of Nanocrystalline Silicon Thin Films". His research focuses on the synthesis and characterization of nanomaterials, covering one-dimensional structures (such as nanowires, nanotubes, and others), two-dimensional materials (including graphene and transition metal carbides, among others), metallic nanoparticles, and semiconducting nanostructured thin films. His expertise lies in vacuum deposition techniques like CVD (Chemical Vapour Deposition) and PECVD (Plasma-Enhanced Chemical Vapour Deposition). He has received various local and international awards, including the MASS 2001 Award from Malaysia, the 2016 Newton Advanced Fellowship, and the 2020 Top Research Scientists Malaysia (TRSM) Award. He has secured many research projects, holds 6 filed patents, and has also taken on roles such as adjunct professor at universities, session chair at international conferences, editorial member of journals, and PhD thesis examiner by multiple universities. According to Google Scholar, he has published over 255 peer-reviewed papers with a total of 3,812 citations (h-index = 31); while according to Publons Web of Science, he has over 165 papers with 2,895 citations (h-index = 28).
